Media and Negotiation Training
Media and Negotiation Training was provided in Ankara on August 11, September 21–22 and November 22 with the participation of senior officials from the Climate Change Presidency of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change under the project on Updating Türkiye’s Nationally Determined Contribution and Long-Term Climate Change Strategy.
During the training, presentations were made on effective discussion and interview techniques with particular focus on raising awareness, and how to deliver messages to the media and during national and international meetings within the framework of the preparation of the “Long-Term Climate Change Strategy 2050” and the “National Climate Change Action Plan 2023-2030”.
Crisis Communication Training
Online Crisis Communication Training sessions were organized on December 7 under the Project on Updating Türkiye’s Nationally Determined Contribution and Long-Term Climate Change Strategy with the participation of senior-level personnel of the Climate Change Presidency of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
The training was organized within the framework of the preparation of the “Long-Term Climate Change Strategy” and the “2023–2030 National Climate Change Action Plan” and focused on raising awareness of the definition and categorization of crises, crisis communication management and crisis strategies, and was accompanied by case studies.
